I have decades of experience as a journalist in New Jersey and Florida. I currently write and edit pieces about retirement for Kiplinger.com, Kiplinger Retirement Report and other Kiplinger publications.
I have also worked as a marketing content writer and also as a criminal defense investigator.
My longest tenures have been writing for newspapers, the Tampa Tribune and Asbury Park Press. My career outlived the Tribune, which saw its demise in May 2016.
My life is about learning new things, figuring them out, digging and questioning so I can explain them simply and approachably to others.
